Awards description
Rockwell
In five years of participation in the FRC, our team has won two trophies Rockwell.
This award is given to the team that presented the best performance of the robot on the court, either in the controlled or autonomous.
A major goal of the team on the field of autonomous robot, is always seeking innovations that facilitate interaction between the pilot and the robot, so each season we develop new commands that increase the autonomy of the robot on the court.
Chairman´s
The Chairman's Award and is the most coveted prize among the teams also the prize of greatest importance to the community, because to win you need the team has developed the spirit of science and technology in society.
Our team won this award, after several work done for the community to promote the importance of technology for personal development, so we can highlight some activities such as planting trees, participating in the FLL with three public schools, aid to four new teams in the FRC, in addition to organizing the Regional Brasileira, 2008, held in our city and it organized a food social, formed only by nonprofit organizations.
Rookie Inspiration
This was our first trophy, won by the great team performance in his first participation in a Regional FRC. This recognition was due to a number of factors as a robust robot that could defend the autonomous period, controlled the team was united and always willing to help other teams participating. This year we also highlight being a rookie team to reach the finals in a Regional with over 60 teams.
